Community LinksMore links than you can shake a stick at. If you know of a great site (or run your own!) then let me know by filling out this form. Advertise Your Role-Playing Game! — I made this board cause a lot of RPG sites I've been to don't seem to like it when people advertise their other games. I thought it would be nice for people to have a place where they could advertise their games or need for a game without fear their posts would get deleted. While you don't have to register to post there are regular "just chating" boards and one for artists looking for jobs (even - well, ESPECIALLY ones they'll do for free LOL) or RPers looking for artists. Blood of Heroes/DC HeroesDC Heroes mailing list online database — Hundreds of writeups for various characters (DC, Marvel, Image, movies, television, books, manga...) ; includes illustrations, search engine and so on. Contains new rules, powers, and abilities for the MEGS system. Knight of Shadows DC Page — Character pictures and stats for use with DC Heroes. This one contains reader-submitted powers as well as "Rules Powers" that are defined by their temporary alteration of game mechanics. Marvel Heroes Classic Roleplaying Game — Very attractive, well designed site with a lot of great information and links about the Classic game. Alien Race descriptions, house rules, a message board and lots more assorted great stuff! Recommended! Marvel Superheroes EZBoard — Along with discussion of game mechanics, the Marvel Superheroes EZBoard is also starting an online role-play group based on a 'What if...' scenario. If there are enough other people interested, they're also planning on starting multiple campaigns, something like those on zan's Super Home. Possibly even multiple systems as well (they have one Aberrant player, soon to be followed by another.) Nightmares of Futures Past — Nightmares of Futures Past was an adventure written by Steve Winter and published by TSR in 1987. zSH reader Terry S. Chapman has adapted the original module for online use, so classic Marvel fans can run adventures in this hellish future without the original gamebook. Terry's done a wonderful job laying out the text and images (and culling new images from Marvel and other sources) to make the site a very enjoyable visit. Norseman Central — "Bunches o' stuff, including: Many characters, GHOTMU and original (616) and bunch of equipment; On-Line UPB, gleaned mostly from Zan's downloads plus Dragon Magazine; On-Line tools - Dice Roller, FTL Calculator based upon Dragon Magazine, Distance Calculator (everything from Millimeters to Parsecs) and Temperature Conversion; Downloadable programs - Character Generator (PC Only); Some Norse Mythology and Humor." Project Gladiator — The longtime Hosted Game from this site spreads its wings and graduates to a whole new level, courtesy of ProjectGladiator.com! Still under construction, but expect a lot of goodies from this group of talented folks. Reality 17 — An ongoing Marvel Super Heroes campaign, with a lot of great stories and information. Screamin' Evel's RPG Shack — Evel Chris has a large selection of new maps, a CCG section for online playable CCGs, new powers, equipment, sourcebooks, chat and message board, and he's adding new characters and groups almost daily. (Nearly all of his characters are available to download as a ".zsh" file and can be loaded easily into my DiceRoller software! Nice idea, Evel!) Powerheroes.com — Another site focusing on Supers RPGs, as well as other super-related things. Features the complete 3D comic, "Liberty: The American Girl," plus her gaming stats and background/world info. A well-done site! The Central Nexus — A multi-system site, currently with 1 Gurps Supers World background (Supers set in the Victorian era) with a half a dozen characters. Two Blood of Heroes backgrounds are up, one that was run in last year's Dragon*Con convention, and the other is currently underway for the webmaster's group. Future plans are to add a Champion's character section as well as one for a custom game system version that friends are working up called Xavian. |
