MSH Character Generator
New version 1.1.4 posted 5/8/05. The new version fixes several problems when exporting to text, adds "Shift 0" rank to all the rank pop-up menus, and correctly assigns a 0 power rank number to "Shift 0" instead of "Feeble."
The new version opens characters from previous versions, and version 1.0 can open characters created with the new version (although any custom fields will default to "Other" and Health and Karma will revert to their "calculated" values.)
The MSH Character Generator also includes a versatile system for choosing custom values for Gender and Hair, Eye and Skin color.
The program not only features random character generation based on the Ultimate Powers Book rules, but also has preferences for maximum power and ability rank levels, number of Powers, Talents, and Contacts, and Advanced Set or UPB origins (in case you're not too keen on randomly rolling "Gaseous." In addition, the final version is faster, has a "Description" tab for history, equipment, and description, sports a "Clear All" function for powers, and features an "Export to HTML" function that makes sharing your new characters even easier!
This software is free. Feel free to share it with others; I only ask that you distribute it with the Read Me file, so that everyone will know where to go to download a newer version when it comes out. Make sure to let me know if you encounter any bugs or problems with this software!

Marvel (SAGA) Character Sheet
This handy PDF version of the character sheet for the Marvel Super Heroes Adventure Game (SAGA) comes to you from Adrian Rivais. Thanks for the token of appreciation, Adrian!
Universal Wheel
I came across a playing aid (I think from the "New York, New York" sourcebook) that was a universal table made into a "wheel", so you could dial up the proper rank and get the result rolls for it instantly. I thought to myself, "wouldn't it be great if this wheel had all of the combat results listed and looked a little cooler?"
I got to work immediately and made the first Heroplay promo giveaway, the Heroplay Universal Wheel. It's available as a Adobe Acrobat file, so you'll need the Acrobat Reader (available free from adobe.com) to print it out. Just mount the two pieces on some cardstock, cut them out along the lines (there are directions included, if you need them) and insert a paper fastener through the middle: Ta da! You've got the Universal Table at your fingertips, and a pretty attractive one at that!
If clicking on the link above doesn't start a download, you might need to click-and-hold (Mac) or right-click (Windows) and choose "Download Link to Disk" or "Save Link to Disk" or something along those lines. If you have the latest version of the Acrobat Reader installed then your system should be configured so that a simple click on the link will work.
MSH DiceRoller
New version 1.1.3 posted 1/3/01. This release corrects a problem where Yellow results under "Blunt Attack" were listed at "Stun" results instead of "Slam." A little error, but it could make all the difference in the clutch!
A desk accessory that provides Universal Table results for random or typed-in numbers. Not just color results, but results based on the type of FEAT attempted. Floats in front of other applications for easy access. Also, you can store characters for easy access to their stats. Why hassle? Use the DiceRoller!
This software is free and is avialable for Macintosh and Windows platforms in beta form. Feel free to share it with others; I only ask that you distribute it with the Read Me file, so that everyone will know where to go to download a newer version when it comes out.
